The paper presents an analysis of the pilot episode of an infotainment program about the socio-cultural development of Karelia. "Paper Initiatives of Karelia" is a project about the unrealized potential of the republic. The pilot episode is dedicated to organizing festivals. Each issue characterizes the initiatives and also presents potential ways to organize them. In the text we also analyze the format of infotainment in the context of our project and the possible impact of the program. In addition, we analyze in detail the characteristics of the project itself (concept, target audience, references, etc.) and the legal basis of the project (the project as an object of copyright, monetization of the product in the context of law, etc.).
