Creation and Implementation of an Educational Media Product for Economic Journalists of the TASS Information Agency

The burgeoning medium of video courses is already taking over the education market. Interest in online education is emerging among representatives of all professions, including journalism. This paper is directly related to the topic of video courses, as it focuses on the creation and implementation of a video course in the online education system of the TASS news agency. This work includes the plan and process of realization of a media product for economic journalists, which is the subject of the research. In turn, the object of the study is educational services in the field of business journalism. In the course of the work, we studied the target audience, analyzed references, conducted a literature review and surveyed potential users of the product, i.e. undergraduate students of the Journalism program at several leading Russian universities. We also clearly identified the key benefits of our educational product for the course participants. The course on Introduction to Economic Agenda consists of 5 blocks with a total duration of 1 week and 10 lessons lasting from 5 to 8 minutes. The cost of creating this product amounted to ten thousand rubles. The volume of the study is 64 pages. The text consists of 5 chapters, the second of which is devoted to the description of the process of developing and launching the product. During the creation of the study, more than 90 sources were analyzed, including 13 English-language sources, but the final version of the list included 41 sources of information, as the rest turned out to be irrelevant in terms of scientific novelty.
