Creating a Video Podcast on an Impact Subject on the VK Platform

This graduation thesis presents a detailed account of the stages and outcomes involved in creating a video podcast on an impact topic hosted on the VKontakte platform. The project aims to create a unique media product in the format of a video podcast, which will be able to change the perception of chronic diagnosis in the society by the example of human stories. «Hroniki Hronikov» is a video podcast about people with chronic diseases. In the episodes, the presenter together with the guest character discuss aspects of life using the «Balance Wheel» technique of self-knowledge, which has become popular in recent years. The paper consists of several parts: the first chapter presents the theoretical framework, which allows us to justify the choice of the project format – video podcast. Also, the first chapter analyzes the trends of podcasting as a constantly evolving format. Chapter two analyzes the design component of the work conducted to create the video podcast. The third chapter identifies and analyzes the legal complexities of creating a media project both in terms of the legislation of the Russian Federation and the rules of using a digital platform for distribution. Chapter four summarizes the results of the work done and discusses the prospects for the development of the video podcast «Hroniki Hronikov».
