The research focuses on four major Russian online movie theaters: Kinopoisk, Ivi, Wink and Okko. The study compares the platforms' communication and transmedia strategies, their monetization models and content catalogues. The analysis identifies the key factors which influence the competitiveness and leadership of streaming services in the market. The thesis also includes the results of expert interviews that discuss current trends and prospects for the development of Russian streaming platforms in the next few years.
