In recent years, there has been a notable focus on the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), which has also impacted Russian companies like Yandex which introduced its neural network called YandexGPT. This study specifically examines the YandexGPT model, a Russian-language neural network launched on May 17, 2023, focusing on its functionalities within the ya.ru search engine. Despite its status as the fourth most popular search engine globally, limited scientific analysis exists on its user interactions. Grounded in the discourse-material knot theory, this study aims to understand the AI influence on the construction of reality based on the relationship between the discourse constructed around AI and the material aspect, such as the device or technology housing the neural network. Its primary objective is to identify the specifics of user engagement with the YandexGPT model using digital ethnography methods. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, construction of reality, discourse-material knot, YandexGPT, global search engines.
