Sustainability Factors of Franchising as a Form of Contractual Agreements

Abstract The graduate work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, list of studied literature and 2 appendices. The topic of the research is "Factors of sustainability of franchising as a form of contractual agreements". The purpose of the study is to assess the factors that positively affect the sustainability of franchises. The object of the study - Russian franchises, information about which was collected using data from open sources, including the website "franshiza.ru". Subject of the study - factors affecting sustainability on the example of Russian franchises. In accordance with the designated goal, the following tasks were accomplished in the work: to study and systematize the factors affecting the sustainability of franchises; analyze the Russian franchise market. The research is based on both general methods of scientific knowledge (analysis, comparison) and private-scientific methods: franchise market analysis, comparative analysis of franchises, regression and correlation analysis. The hypotheses of the research consist in assumptions that the following factors have a positive impact on the franchise life cycle: lump-sum remuneration (H1), royalties (H2), payback period (H3), training opportunities (H4), requirements for franchisees (H5) and franchise size. franchise (H6). The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the results of empirical analysis based on the database of Russian franchises revealed significant factors affecting the survival rate of franchises in the market, which can be useful in the field of management and marketing.
