Understanding intertemporal preferences in life-saving programs is crucial for designing effective public health interventions. This study investigates the preferences of Russian millennials and zoomers regarding present versus future life-saving initiatives, drawing inspiration from the theoretical framework established by Cropper, Aydede, and Portney. Methodologically, the research employs a survey-based approach to gather insights into the decision-making processes of the target demographic. The findings are expected to provide valuable guidance for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers, informing the design of tailored life-saving initiatives and contributing to a deeper understanding of intertemporal decision-making dynamics. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of considering external factors, such as socioeconomic indicators, in future research endeavors to enhance our understanding of contextual influences on intertemporal preferences among young people and inform evidence-based policy formulation.
