The Influence of Human Capital on the Financial Efficiency of Russian Universities

The study is devoted to identifying the influence of universities' human capital on their financial performance. Russian universities were studied in the period from 2019 to 2022. Using regression analysis, it was found that university income is positively influenced by the teaching staff index, as well as some characteristics of the university rector’s background: previous work experience, academic title.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree.
