South Asia is one of the most vulnerable regions on the planet, and it gets affected by climate change, poverty, political instability, and malnutrition, which leads directly to the challenge of food security. The purpose of this study is to identify the core issue of South Asian food insecurity and determine if the region will receive any help regarding this problem. Moreover, it is essential to examine how South Korea is coping with this SDG Goal, and how much it has invested in the issue. The main research question is: “How does South Korea contribute to enhancing food security in South Asia in the 21st century?”. With the help of this research, the impact of food insecurity in South Asia will be accepted as an urgent concern. Besides, South Korea’s influence in this case can be described as quite beneficial and future oriented.
