The aim of the study is to investigate the visual techniques used in sports documentary films. The research aims to identify similarities and differences in the use of these techniques and determine whether the application of a particular visual technique varies according to the theme and genre of the documentary film. The task is to analyze the application of all major visual techniques in order to apply them to their own graduation film. The results of the study were inconclusive, as similarities and differences were found where they were least expected. However, this research greatly assisted in preparing for the filming of the project, as it enhanced the understanding of the specifics of shooting sports documentary films.
