The Issue of Disclosing Non-Financial Indicators on the Company\'s Financial Indicators

This study aims to investigate the relationship of non-financial information on financial performance. The purpose of this graduate qualification work is to evaluate the dependence of information about corporate philanthropy (in general and in different areas) on the investment attractiveness of Chinese companies. (in general and in different areas) on the investment attractiveness of Chinese companies. The practical significance of the graduate qualification work is to use the findings to help companies understand the need for disclosure of non-financial information, for investors to more thoroughly analyze company reports and to improve potential agent-principal relationships. A sample of the top 50 Chinese companies by capitalization was used to conduct the analysis. Next, the annual reports of each of the companies for the period 2018 - 2022 were collected. Using various textual analysis methods, the charity disclosure values for each company for the entire period were determined. Regression analysis was performed based on this data and the financial ratios obtained. Primarily, the developed model was improved by removing outliers. After that, the Pearson correlation coefficient was calculated, on the basis of which two hypotheses were confirmed. two hypotheses were confirmed: the impact of disclosure of information on corporate philanthropy on investment attractiveness and the different impact of philanthropy spheres on q-Tobin.
