This study analyzes the changes in the structure of the Russian stock market through the dynamics of volatility spillovers among the shares of leading companies. Particular attention is paid to the impact of external economic and political shocks, starting from 2022, on volatility dynamics. The research identifies key factors affecting volatility in various periods, which is of significant importance to investors and market participants. The findings enhance understanding of how international events, exogenous shocks and changes in economic policy influence Russian financial instruments.
