Finding Home: a Videogame

The study analyzes the impact of characters on gameplay immersiveness and replayability. The aim was to investigate how to create an ideal character that promotes players' emotional engagement. The focus is on player interaction with non-player characters, on 'communicating' with them examines how attachment is formed. The research was useful within the emerging game Finding home as a guide to creating the images and characters of the main protagonists and helped to strengthen the player's bond with them.
