This piece of research is dedicated to the features of semiconductor companies’ growth strategies on the foreign markets of the Asia-Pacific. Despite the APAC countries are the global semiconductor industry leaders, over the recent years they have been facing a turbulence in development due to internal and external factors. Hence, the understanding of market leaders’ best practices and features of their growth strategies is becoming increasingly important to secure sustainable development. However, there is still a research gap presented regarding the likewise research on American and European companies in APAC and comparison of their features. To answer the research question and bridge the gap this thesis conducted theoretical overview of growth strategies of semiconductor companies on foreign markets, carried out global and regional chip market analysis and did the case study of Infineon and NXP Semiconductors in the APAC. The quantitative methods used included financial and statistical analysis, while qualitative ones included case study, literature analysis, comparison and synthesis. As a result, we were able to achieve the research goals and find out the features of semiconductor companies’ growth strategies on the foreign markets of the Asia-Pacific.
