The degree work on the subject “Spatial aspects of forestry complex management” is devoted to the spatial analysis of forestry in the territory of the Russian Federation using methods of spatial autocorrelation, object clustering, and the examination of nearest objects. Data for the practical part of the work was taken from the database of the Professional Analysis System of Enterprises and Markets of the Interfax Information Agency. It has been revealed that the majority of one-dimensional Moran's indices, constructed based on financial indicators of enterprises, indicate a tendency towards random distribution of companies with similar values in space. The analysis of the two-dimensional Moran's index showed a tendency towards clustering of enterprises with similar financial parameters when considering short-term or long-term borrowings. It has been determined that large forestry clusters are concentrated in cities with populations exceeding 200 thousand people, predominantly in the European part of the country. It has also been found that forestry enterprises are mainly located within 250 km of timber processing companies. Keywords: forestry, spatial autocorrelation, clustering, nearest neighbor search, spatial analysis, geoanalysis.
