After the start of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, the overwhelming majority of Western analysts predicted a rapid collapse of the Russian economy, but six months after the introduction of large-scale sanctions, the invalidity of such forecasts became obvious. One of the reasons for the adaptation of the Russian economy was the communication between government authorities and business representatives. This paper is a research in the field of political science and strategic management aimed at building a comprehensive picture of GR formats in Russia after the start of the Special Military Operation. A detailed analysis of sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation in the period from January to August 2022 with the formation of a detailed list of sanctions, consisting of more than 160 items, qualitative content analysis of 70 publications on the activities of key Russian business associations after the imposition of sanctions in 2022, as well as 8 expert interviews with GR directors of major Russian companies. The results of this work were communicated to representatives of Russia's largest political party to be taken into account in subsequent work.
