Hyperpop Music Album

Student: Danila Botyayev

Supervisor:

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Contemporary Art (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 9

Year of Graduation: 2024

The aim of this study was to delve into the history of the genre, to get to know the first artists and the first labels. To find out what influenced the formation of this internet movement and what challenges the musicians of the genre had to face. How does one genre manage to combine dozens of other genres? The research helped me to get to know the genre better, to realise that hyperpop blurs the boundaries in music and experiments a lot. It helped in writing my own hyperpop album.
