Academic Mobility Programs as a Way to Develop Agency of Russian Students

The study is aimed at identifying the manifestations and effects of proactive action by Russian students in the context of the academic exchange program in the United States in 2022-2023. The problem field is tied to the socio-political theory of the World Society of J. Meyer and the crisis are the main thesis of this theory about the convergence of values and the creation of a global identity in the educational process. The work is a case study using qualitative methodology. Based on the results of the work, the manifestations and effects of the agency of students who took part in the exchange program were determined.
