Influence of Large Regional Business on the Coverage of Sanctions by the Heads of the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation in 2022-23

This paper examines the impact of events during which business and representatives of regional authorities interact on the coverage of sanctions and import substitution by the head of the region of the Russian Federation. The work uses data collected by the researcher on the number of events of interaction between business and government. The data collected by the researcher on the number of posts about sanctions and import substitution on the VK and Telegram social networks of the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are also used. The collected data has a panel structure with 2 periods: 2022 and 2023. The research method is regression with random effects.
