The work is dedicated to studying the dynamics of the discursive strategies of Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the presidential elections in Turkey in 2018 and 2023. The research focuses on changes in Erdogan's discursive strategies in response to various socio-political and economic challenges. It analyzes how the leader adapts his communication with the electorate in the context of competitive autocracy, considering international pressure, economic crises, and internal social movements. The work is based on critical discourse analysis, allowing for the identification of changes in discursive strategies through the analysis of Erdogan's speech texts. Key topics such as economic policy, the fight against terrorism, religious rhetoric, and refugee issues are examined, as well as their impact on voter perception. The work emphasizes the importance of studying the dynamics of discursive strategies in a changing political environment and contributes to the understanding of the adaptability of political communication in competitive autocracies.
