The study examines the portrayal of gangsters in Russian cinema from 2000 to 2023, focusing on the evolution of these images and their influence on public attitudes. The study examines popular films and TV series such as Boomer, Brigada, and Patsan's Word that center their plots on gangster groups. The analysis aims to understand the ideological and moral narratives embedded in these projects and their influence on the formation of images of gangsters in the public consciousness. Through comparative and discursive analysis, this paper addresses a critical gap in the existing literature, seeking to provide a deeper understanding of how cinematic images of gangsters reflect Russia's social and political landscape.
