Among the indicators that have an impact on the environment, the pace of urbanization, economic growth, as well as the share of industrial activity and agriculture in GDP are noted. With the growth of cities, the innovative potential increases, economic growth occurs, which is certainly associated with the introduction of new technologies in production. Such innovations reduce harmful emissions into the water and air basins, reducing the number of resources consumed. With the growth of the economy, people tend to invest more in a clean environment to improve both the quality of life and its duration. These findings of the study suggest that innovations in the field of ecology can help reduce the harm to the environment.
