The object of this study is the music label Hyperdub and its influence on the evolution of electronic music and the underground scene. Also, the music released on the label itself is under scrutiny. The study is based on an analysis of sources including music recordings, literary materials and interviews with musicians. The work examines the label, revealing important events that influenced its formation, identifies key artists who brought success to the association, and explores the specifics of the community formation around Hyperdub. As the visual research is related to the author's graduate work, an important part of the work is to reflect on the musical and visual aesthetics of the label, in order to identify new reference points in working with sound, visuals and creativity in general.
