The theme of replicating the image of a sailor allows to consider both the real world of the navy, customs, terms, features of the profession, external differences, experience of different countries, and "artificial" worlds that have already appeared under the influence of stereotypes and distorted perceptions of the sailors image. The purpose of this study is to understand how the image has been distorted or remained unchanged in various areas, as well as how it can be differently perceived in women's and children's fashion, where the image interacts with opposite genders and ages. During the work on the study, it was important not only to collect information, but also to divide it into groups and compare the real world with the world based on reality. It was necessary to understand how this image originated and what led to its current state. Numerous museums, private archives, and online resources were used to conduct the study.  The result of this visual study is a book, which analyses the difference in images of a sailor that are translated by various spheres. In the process of formation, an image of a sailor may conflict with itself, but it remains recognizable to the public due to specific features.
