The aspirations of classical landscape painters of the Russian North in the 50-90s and modern researchers of the Arctic certainly overlap in the enchanting admiration and contemplation of the power of nature, manifested in their landscapes and scientific works, and the irresistible desire to return, driven by an eternal spiritual connection with the North. Visual research contributed significantly to the thesis project. Social interest in the Arctic has a huge impact on both its further development and the state of the planet. The goal of this project is to create a multi-page publication with a chronology of the diaries of the Arctic Floating University (AFU), which will help popularize Arctic professions, attract new researchers and scientists to the project, and also increase the significance of the Arctic for a wide range of readers who love popular science literature. The results of the study were obtained by analyzing a large number of competitors, conducting direct communication and consultations with project managers, studying the target audience, viewing and selecting links on layout and composition within the chosen topic to create a unique book edition. The significance of the results is a fundamental outcome of the project.
