Despite the fact that museum labels are familiar to the modern viewer, there is still debate about its necessity. The visual research will explore the relationship between name and subject, the unification of text and object, and also identify the role of text in the process of perception and interpretation of works of art. The main task is to trace how the appearance and function of museum descriptions change in different contexts.
