There are two types of interventions Influencing human decision making, which are actively used - nadging and boosting. The first one acts due to a low level of awareness and Impacts behavior directly, the second one – due to awareness and reflection. These methods are also applicable to the digital environment. That is why nadging becomes the basis for the dark patterns mechanism – user interface design options that guide the user to make decisions that are beneficial to the site, but not for themselves. The purpose of this paper is to experimentally test the possibility of reducing the influence of dark patterns using boosting, presented in the form of information and interactive learning. Logistic regression was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the use of interactive learning reduces the likelihood of making a decision in favor of dark patterns for two of the three types of patterns used.
