Attacks on Android Devices and Protection Against them

The aim of the study was to investigate the security issues of the Android operating system. The work consists of an introduction, 5 chapters, conclusion, list of references, and supplements. The first chapter examines the technologies underlying the Android OS, the second chapter discusses the security mechanisms of Android, the genesis of security measures as new versions are released, the third chapter explores possible vulnerabilities and attack vectors on Android devices and applications, the fourth chapter describes the behavior of the Android operating system on an application into which malicious code generated using the "Metasploit" framework is injected, and the fifth chapter describes the behavior of the Android operating system on an application simulating a malicious "keylogger" sending data without the device owner's knowledge. Based on the material studied, security issues of the Android operating system are analyzed. The work contains 89 pages, 43 figures, 0 tables, 46 sources and1 appendices.
