The purpose of this work is to identify the features of support for nonresident film producers in the subjects of the Russian Federation, used to strengthen the brand of the region and the development of local creative industries. Most scientific publications on regional film production support systems in Russia either contain information about the nature of such support, or describe possible future positive effects for regions from supporting film production. At the same time, there have been no studies evaluating the results of regional film production support systems since the emergence of such systems in Russia in 2016. Thus, this work is one of the first studies aimed at studying and evaluating the experience of Russian regions in supporting visiting filmmakers. The relevance of this work is due to the growing number of subjects of the Russian Federation involved in the process of supporting visiting filmmakers. In this work, the method of data systematization, content analysis and expert interviews are used. The result of the work was an assessment of the impact of regional support tools for visiting film groups on strengthening the brand of the regions and the development of local creative industries, as well as recommendations that may be taken into account by the regions in the future. The purpose of this work is to identify the features of support for nonresident film producers in the subjects of the Russian Federation, used to strengthen the brand of the region and the development of local creative industries.
