This thesis explores the process of choosing romantic partners among emerging adults and identifies factors that contribute to maintaining long-term relationships in this age group. The focus is on analyzing how the criteria for choosing a partner change from adolescence to adulthood. The study addresses how sociocultural changes affect preferences in romantic relationships and what psychological mechanisms underlie the choice and maintenance of relationships. The research relies on theoretical works and empirical data collected through qualitative interviews, allowing for a deeper understanding of the dynamics of romantic relationships in emerging adults.
