The aim of this study is to explore the relationships and identify patterns between perceived leadership styles and employee motivation types. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were accomplished: examining theoretical approaches to understanding leadership styles and reviewing literature to define key characteristics of different management styles; analyzing theories of employee motivation; determining the connections between leadership styles and employee motivation, with the development of a research methodology to study this influence in various work contexts; collecting and analyzing data through socio-psychological surveys in different work formats; assessing the impact of work format on the relationship between leadership styles and motivation; proposing recommendations for managers based on the findings; synthesizing the results to evaluate the effectiveness of different leadership styles in various work conditions. The main findings of the study indicate that the presence of autonomous employee motivation contributes to increased job satisfaction, while employees with controlled motivation prefer authoritarian and directive management styles. However, the results also suggest the complexity of the direct impact of different leadership styles on employee motivation levels, possibly due to other organizational factors. The analysis also did not reveal significant differences in satisfaction and motivation levels between office-based, hybrid, and remote work, indicating the presence of other influencing variables. These findings can be utilized to optimize personnel management methods and enhance work efficiency in various organizational contexts.
