A special place in the ninth partner communication can be given to expectations. Representations are a cognitive structure formed in the past, continuing in the present and having enormous influence on the future, while also being capable of uncertainty. Internal conditions of expectation can be true or non-verbal. May be directly and indirectly involved or indirectly. But they absolutely influence the life of the couple and the future structure of their family system. Despite the fact that a sufficient amount of research has been conducted on the topic of expectations in relationships, the process of creating, attracting and negotiating partner expectations at the beginning of a relationship still remains unexplored. This work makes an attempt to formulate the content, conditions, methods of attraction, the degree of consistency of expectations from the relationship and from each other at the initial stage of the relationship. It also turns out that what are the consequences in relationships of the discovered difference in expectations, different degrees of their involvement and different ways of discussing and agreeing on them in a couple.
