Cinematography and animation conceptualize and develop aesthetic solutions well-known from ancient and modern art forms, providing creative reflection associated with an exaggerated scale. The research proceeds from the fact that video games, being the newest of the new art forms, due to their interactivity are able to convey new semantic shades through interaction with the virtual world and gaming experience. Thus, the purpose of this work is to identify classical and avant—garde motifs characteristic of the representation of gigantism in screen media, and based on their comparison to identify fundamentally new ways of perceiving gigantism, which the video game format makes possible.
