Reconstruction of the Bender River Station

The concept of visual research is to search and analyze the features and patterns of buildings of Soviet architectural modernism of the period 1955-1991. The analysis covers transport facilities such as airports, railway and river stations, as well as bus stations, bus stops and metro stations located in the former Soviet Union. Research work is aimed at identifying basic principles and ideas, analyzing forms and style features, studying technologies and materials used in construction. Visual research is one of the important elements of analyzing existing experience to create a modern space based on a structure in the style of Soviet architectural modernism, with a large functional range and a modern look.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree.
