Research Goals and Objectives. To find out what functions should be paid attention to when filling coastal areas to attract the flow of population to the object. To analyze the methods of expressing the priority of functional zones in the design of world projects. To study and analyze the world experience in the field of development and use of coastal territories, to identify the most successful and innovative approaches and strategies, as well as to determine the possibilities of applying these approaches in the context of domestic realities. To study the peculiarities of ennobling the territories of water bodies depending on the climate and consider the techniques of adaptive transformative site-specific design. The main objective of the study is to analyze in detail the projects of ennobling coastal territories in order to determine the trajectory of actions in the design of complex recreational spaces and to understand what methods and techniques are used in the development of each functional zone.
