The book festival provides a unique opportunity by creating a space for dialogue. The event brings together book lovers from all over the country and the world. The festival brings together book lovers, libraries, publishing houses, bookstores and all people who support books. A literary festival usually includes various presentations and readings by authors and other events held over several days, with the main goal of promoting the authors' books and fostering a love of literature and writing. What is a book festival for? - Book and reading promotion The format makes it possible to attract a wide audience - Contact between writer and reader The festival provides a unique opportunity by creating a space for dialogue. - Support for authors in the regions Participation in the festival can give a strong start to a young book author. - Publisher support For small and regional publishing houses, the festival is an opportunity to present their products to a wide audience. - Promotion of the region The book festival is an excellent way to demonstrate the cultural potential of the region at the federal and international level. The rebranding of the Book Lighthouse festival was chosen as the theme for the final qualifying work. This topic is inextricably linked with the theme of VI; having examined various festivals in Russia and abroad, it will be possible to draw a conclusion about their differences and features. Also, the main task is in the identity of each festival. It includes the main stage, the atmosphere at festivals, advertising (street, online, newspaper), etc. The purpose of the visual research is to study the features of Russian and foreign book festivals by analyzing the identity of the book show. The object of visual research is the identity of book festivals. The subject of visual research is the visual presentation of book festivals using the example of Russian festivals and neighboring countries. Festivals used in the work: “Red Square” (Moscow), “Book Lighthouse” (St. Petersburg), International Fair of Intellectual Literature Non/fiction (Moscow), Minsk International Exhibition-Fair (Minsk, Belarus), Moscow International Exhibition-Fair (Moscow). Visual research allows you to determine what are the features of a particular book exhibition. All this is revealed on the basis of comparison.
