Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most groundbreaking technologies of the 21st century. As of 2023, more than 80% of large companies worldwide are implementing or exploring the possibilities of implementing AI. The adoption of AI can significantly impact various aspects of a company's operations. This paper is dedicated to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the impact of AI adoption on the competitiveness indicators of several companies in the US and China. In the framework of this work, a systematic theoretical basis on this topic is provided, an empirical analysis of AI development in global companies and in the US and Chinese markets is conducted, as well as an econometric analysis of the impact of various AI adoption indicators on the competitiveness of companies in the US and China. Finally, a comparative analysis of the impact of AI on companies in the US and China is performed.
