The master's thesis is dedicated to the study of improving the efficiency of a pharmaceutical company based on a balanced scorecard system. In an environment of constant competition and rapidly changing market demands, managing an extensive fleet of production equipment requires not only the implementation of advanced technologies but also a deep analytical approach to assessing its performance. The dissertation examines methodologies and tools for efficiency analysis used in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly the use of the overall equipment effectiveness indicator. The study includes a theoretical analysis of existing approaches to efficiency management, an evaluation of the information-analytical systems applied, and the development of a proprietary model of balanced scorecards to improve processes in the selected company. The focus is on the ability of the balanced scorecard system to not only optimize equipment operation but also enhance the overall productivity of the enterprise. The work proposes a comprehensive approach that includes the formation of strategic initiatives and a target model for enterprise operation, considering the implementation of an information-analytical system for monitoring and managing processes. This allows not only to reduce operational costs, but also to ensure a higher adaptation to market changes.
