The Creation of an Electronic Music Album and Its Turn to Experimental Poetry

Student: Laymaelza Lipkina

Educational Programme: Contemporary Art Practices (Master)

Final Grade: 8

Year of Graduation: 2024

The present study focuses on the methodology of the generative principle of artwork construction: In a private perspective - 'contemporary music' as a final field that directly affects the further realisation of the method in action in terms of album creation. And in a broader scope - the study touches upon some historical context of generativity from its origins outside the digital field to the visual demonstration of the principles in action through the example of recognisable twentieth century art. The essence that actualises such an idea is an attempt to redefine the author's place in the new turn of civilisation in an already complex chain of interactions between a multitude of actors whose hierarchy was blurred even before the arrival of the digitalisation era. These symptoms of the simplification of communication and the ideological disintegration of the complex into the simple - contribute only the raising of new questions.
