Design is a rapidly evolving field of activity. Its principles are still being formed, including the system of interrelations between the main brand and its subsidiary elements. The USSR can also be seen as a defined brand within which various subsidiary organizations operated. The aim of this study is to identify the design elements that contributed to the recognizability of the activities of these subsidiary organizations. Soviet wings that were in use during the USSR period (1922-1991) were selected as the research subject.
