Universal OSINT Application Development

Student: Nikita Ignatovskiy

Supervisor: Oleg Evsyutin

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Cybersecurity (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2024

This Master's thesis focuses on the creation of a universal OSINT application that addresses the comprehensive tasks of automated data collection, processing, and presentation from open sources. The study begins with a critical analysis of current analogs, definition of application requirements, and selection of development technologies. It continues with the design process of the multi-layered application architecture and its implementation using modern software solutions based on Python. A distinctive feature of this work is the integration of various data processing methods and the development of an intuitive user interface. Unlike other solutions on the market, this application does not require users to have technical skills for setup and use, solves the problem of slow processing of large data volumes through the use of multithreading, and does not require obtaining API keys to access all features.
