This master's thesis examines the issue of increasing the level of protection of official information in public authorities of the Russian Federation through the introduction of organizational and technical measures. In the context of the large-scale digitalization of the Russian system of public authority and the unstable international situation, the protection of official information circulating in government agencies is of priority importance to ensure national security. In the course of the conducted research, the following particular tasks were solved: - the legal status of official secrets is investigated and the importance of its protection for state bodies of the Russian Federation is determined; - risk factors and threats formed in the field of official secrets protection are classified; - modern methods and approaches to information protection are investigated; - the analysis of the organizational and legal bases of information protection in the state bodies of the Russian Federation is carried out; - the main problematic aspects in the field of protection of information constituting official secrets are identified; - organizational and technical measures are proposed to increase the protection of official secrets in public institutions; - an approximate plan has been formed for the implementation of organizational and technical measures to protect information constituting official secrets in the system of public authority of the Russian Federation; - proposed methods for evaluating the effectiveness of implemented organizational and technical measures to protect official information; - conclusions and recommendations on further improvement of the system of protection of official information in government agencies of the Russian Federation are formulated. To solve the tasks, methods of system analysis, classification, comparison and modeling were used. The results of the conducted research are of practical importance for the state bodies of the Russian Federation in organizing the protection of official secrets. The work contains 75 pages, 10 drawings, 26 sources.
