Assessing the Impact of Football Match Results on the Dynamics of Sponsors' Stock Prices

This study aims to assess the dependence of sponsors' stock prices on the results of football matches. The main questions that are considered in the work are: is there a correlation between the victories of football teams and the growth of capitalization of sponsoring companies; does a larger gap in match scores lead to a greater impact on sponsors' share prices; whether the level of influence depends on the stage of the match. The research data includes the results of UEFA Champions League matches, seasons 2013/2014-2022/2023.
