Development of Access Management of Recreational Areas for the Population of the Administrative District of the Largest City of St. Petersburg

The degree work on a subject «Management of the Development of Recreational Areas in the Administrative District of St. Petersburg Based on a Multidimensional Evaluation of Accessibility» is devoted to the study of the provision of Nevsky district of St. Petersburg with recreation. The paper considers the importance of green areas for leveling the negative consequences of urbanization and improving the well-being of city dwellers. The advantages of using spatial, statistical and field observation data are identified. Therefore, a methodology for evaluating the level of local residents' access to recreational areas is proposed, including indexes of accessibility, diversity and convenience. Mathematical processing of the obtained data is performed and their graphical visualization is given. The results of the study showed that 83.8% of the population of Nevsky District have low access to recreational areas. Recommendations for the development and improvement of the quality of recreational areas in the administrative district of St. Petersburg are proposed.
