Protection of Intellectual Property on the Internet (Theory and Practice)

This work is devoted to a systematic analysis of the issues of intellectual property protection on the Internet. The paper considers such problems as the legal status of domain names and the expediency of their inclusion in the list of objects of intellectual activity and means of individualization, the need to develop special separate legislation regulating copyright and related rights in the information and digital space. The current issues and possible ways of developing the practice of using a non-interchangeable token (NFT institute) as a means of non-jurisdictional protection of the rights of authors of intellectual property objects, as well as the possibility and prospects of using the institute of mediation in resolving disputes concerning intellectual property objects in the digital space are investigated.
