Thesis Topic: "Perception of the Russian Federation on the Global Stage in the Context of Soft Power Development from 2000 to 2023". Relevance of the Topic: In the context of globalization and increasing international competition, soft power, defined as the ability of a country to attract and persuade without force, becomes a key element of foreign policy. The study of Russia's soft power is particularly important for understanding its strategic interests and strengthening its international influence through cultural, educational, and humanitarian initiatives. Research Objectives: The analysis of Russia's soft power strategies and the assessment of their impact on the country's international position. The research aims to identify successful and unsuccessful examples of soft power application and to develop recommendations for improving these strategies. Methodology: The research is based on the soft power concepts developed by Joseph Nye and other scholars. Comparative analysis, content analysis of official documents and publications, as well as qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods are employed. Scientific Novelty: The research enriches the theory of international relations with new data on Russia's soft power strategies, considering contemporary international challenges such as digitalization and changes in the structure of international organizations. Practical Significance: The findings can be used to improve Russia's foreign policy strategies, especially in the areas of cultural and educational exchanges, which contribute to strengthening the country's international image. Structure of the Work: The thesis includes an introduction, a theoretical review, an analysis of soft power strategies, an evaluation of their effectiveness, and conclusions and recommendations for further development of Russia's soft power. The research contributes to a deep understanding of the mechanisms of soft power and its role in contemporary international politics, emphasizing the importance of cultural, educational, and informational strategies in strengthening Russia's international positions.
