Problems of the Financial State of Local Budgets and Ways to Overcome them Using the Example of Cities in the Siberian Federal District

This research examines the current financial problems faced by local budgets of the Siberian Federal District. It thoroughly examines the root causes of these challenges, ranging from economic problems to administrative inefficiency, and proposes viable solutions to overcome them. Effective management of local finances is a key factor in ensuring the socio-economic development of local territories, improving the quality of life and strengthening the financial independence of regions. The research is based on the аnalysis of the regulatory framework, statistical data, scientific papers and publications on the topic of the thesis, as well as the use of comparison and generalization methods. It is expected that the results of this study will not only provide a deeper understanding of the specific problems of the financial state of local budgets in the Siberian Federal District, but also offer effective tools for solving them, helping to increase the financial stability and self-sufficiency of municipalities.
