his study does not aim to become an encyclopedia of speculative evolution projects; rather, it considers the general vector of development and seeks to find unexpected correspondences and patterns. This is important in order to delve deeper into not only the future but also what speculations can tell us about the current state of human civilization. The materials of the study are based on scientific and pseudoscientific writings, as well as speculative documentary and artistic films about the future of humanity and biology. The growing awareness of people about their ecological footprint largely leads to a departure from humanoid depictions. This is because the belief in the successful preservation of the human form is gradually fading, replaced by hope for exoplanets not yet destroyed by civilization and their inhabitants, possibly having nothing in common with humans. The genre of speculative evolution encourages the reader or viewer to reflect on their place in this vast world, without being confined by the timeframe of a single human life.
