In the current geopolitical environment, characterized by an increase in both global and regional tensions, the global energy market, and in particular its gas segment, are undergoing a significant transformation, expressed primarily by changes in existing trade relations and high volatility in energy prices. In the current realities, one of the key challenges for the Russian energy industry has been overcoming sanctions pressure from a number of Western countries, as a result of which traditional export routes and markets for natural gas lose their former attractiveness or become inaccessible altogether due to institutional restrictions and a weakening competitive position. All this actualizes the search for new directions and forms of exports that are less susceptible to external restrictions, and also gives reason to consider alternative ways to monetize natural gas, one of which is production and export
