Human Rights and Cancel Culture: Legal and ethical aspects

This graduate thesis provides a comprehensive study of the legal and ethical aspects of cancel culture in the context of restricting human rights. The author of the study determined the essence of modern cancel culture and its origin, identified the possibility of the emergence of cancel culture at the interstate level in international relations, studied the phenomenon of cancel culture and new ethical and legal challenges in Russia and abroad. The study examines the problems and limits of protection from cancel culture and provides prospects for reforming the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of human rights protection in connection with the negative consequences of cancel culture.
